Tsavorite a better green gemstone

I often receive questions via our company website http://www.lapigems.com/tsavorite.asp regarding whether I consider Tsavorite to be a better gemstone than emerald in terms of the putity of the green and its general physical and chemical characteristics. In my opinion it most definitely is due to a considerable higher Refractive Index (1.74 as opposed to emerald's 1.58), twice the dispersion and a much lower propensity to contain inclusions. Most gemologists would agree I'm sure!
